ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition (G513QY-HQ008T)

Specs
Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 9 Processor | Graphics: AMD Radeon RX Series GPU | Memory: 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD | Display: 15.6 in Screen Size, 2560 x 1440 | OS: Windows 10 Home
Review
AMD released its blockbuster Ryzen 5900HX Core processors for laptops earlier this year along with the brand-new Radeon RX 6800M graphics. The Strix G15 is one of the finest gaming laptops under £1,500, with powerful gaming and productivity capabilities, loudspeakers, and a soft-touch and metal chassis.
ASUS has done all possible efforts in terms of design to make the G15 Advantage Edition scream AMD. The metal lid features the traditional Strix two-toned design, with a diagonal line cutting an all-black cover with a dot pattern. And when the computer is powered on, the ASUS ROG logo is illuminated. However, there is another AMD logo on the lid in the lower-left corner, which is less noticeable.
The laptop also brings back AMD SmartShift. A feature that allows AMD Ryzen CPUs and Radeon GPUs to share power. This helps to concentrate it where it is needed the most, resulting in increased productivity and gameplay performance. In this case, it employs both the 10-phase GPU power architecture and the 6-phase CPU power design. Smart Access Memory (SAM), another key AMD technology, enhances the amount of GPU memory available at any given time with the RX 6800M GPUs (NVIDIA refers to this as Resizable BAR).
ASUS TUF Gaming A15 (FA507RR-HQ033X)
Specs
Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 7 Processor | Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU| Memory: 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD | Display: 15.6 in Screen Size, 2560 x 1440 | OS: Windows 11 Pro
Review
The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 has been available for a while, but the 2022 model features better components and much more ambitious display options inside a lighter chassis than the previous edition. It has quietly evolved from a low-end gaming device to a good midrange. The high GPU power limit is a big indicator of this upgrade.
The TUF Gaming A15’s case is made of strong plastic and decorated with various interesting embellishments. The lid, for example, is embellished with faux fasteners, and the palm rests have a heavily brushed texture. The display is enclosed by small bezels and can be extended up to a 120-degree angle.
The ASUS TUF A15 (also known as the Asus F506IV) stands out as a gaming laptop that delivers exceptional performance at a low price. It is driven by a potent NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU and an AMD Ryzen 7-6800H mobile CPU, both of which are pleasant surprises. It’s not a flagship GPU, but it provides a fantastic 1080p performance, making it an excellent choice for this type of gaming laptop.

Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 7 Processor | Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU| Memory: 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD | Display: 15.6 in Screen Size, 2560 x 1440 | OS: Windows 11 Home
Review
The 2022 TUF Gaming A15 series is undeniably superior to the previous generation in every way. ASUS also reduced the size and weight of the 2022 TUFs, enhanced the IO, updated the inputs and screen options, upped the power of the GPUs, and introduced a much-needed MUX for uncompromised gaming performance.
ASUS TUF Gaming A15 design doesn’t hide the fact that this is a gaming computer, but it’s also not wholly out of place – especially if you want to give it even more gamer cred. The chassis is available in two colors: Fortress Gray and Bonfire Black. The keys include the quintessential RGB lighting, and the all-important WASD keys are accentuated with transparent coloring, leaving no doubt that this is a gaming laptop.
The ASUS TUF A15 is powered by the new AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor. The AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS is the company’s flagship android phone chip. Its goal is to create a system that provides a good balance of performance and value, which is why ASUS chose the 6800H. This is accompanied by an NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU.

Specs
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 Processor | Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU| Memory: 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD | Display: 15.6 in Screen Size, 1920 x 1080 | OS: Windows 11
Review
The Medion Erazer Crawler E25 is a gaming laptop that comes in significantly cheaper than the standard, with most models costing around £1,000. When compared to other machines on the market, this one is the most cost-effective at £700, beating out even the most affordable laptops by £300. And yet, for a laptop, it provides surprisingly good gaming capabilities.
The Erazer Crawler E25’s design is unexpectedly sleek, beautiful, and understated. The laptop is matte black in color and only bears the Medion brand name beneath the screen frame. The Erazer name and a faint emblem are printed on the top of the laptop. But it still has a highly sophisticated and high-quality appearance.
Thanks to its capacitive storage, large 15.6-inch screen, and AMD Ryzen 5 Processor, this laptop is a reliable gaming platform. The Medion Crawler E25’s solid specs ensure that long gaming sessions run smoothly. This laptop includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU dedicated graphics, which are part of the RTX series. Whether you’re traveling or staying somewhere else, the E25 is a terrific gaming laptop to have with you.

Specs
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 Processor | Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q GPU| Memory: 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD | Display: 15.6 in Screen Size, 1920 x 1080 | OS: Windows 10 Home
Review
The Zephyrus G GA502 is a capable multi-purpose laptop. It’s small, light, and powerful enough for daily tasks and robust gaming. It is also the better-looking and better-made option in its price range, and it has a longer battery life compared to the competitors. Overall, you get a powerful GTX 1660 Ti GPU, a lengthy battery life, and a decent pair of speakers – all in a stylish package.
The Zephyrus G retains the design lines of the Zephyrus M and S variants. The exterior looks exactly the same, with the same brushed aluminum lid, panel-lit ROG logo, and boxy design. However, the magnesium main deck has been replaced with a plastic shell on the interior, which is also used for the base panel.
Underneath the Zephyrus G’s tiny chassis is an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor with 16GB of RAM. The Zephyrus G has an admirable battery life for a gaming laptop in its price range. Overall, you get great graphics performance that is more than ready for VR, a good battery life, and a solid pair of speakers. Not to mention that it’s all packed into a super-light and thin design.
